Off-Grid Cooking Methods That Could Save Your Life

Today I’ll be talking about Off-grid cooking methods. I tried to break it down into the root methods used.

They are wood, alcohol, charcoal, gas, Solar, and esbit tabs.

I dig into different ways to use the various cooking methods and their strengths and weaknesses.

I tell you why some of these methods are better depending on what season it is. And why some are better for the home of hiking.

Butane does not perform well under freezing conditions. So in northern winters, they are not an option for you.

And if you live in a desert a wood burning stove is not for you.

For backpacking trips, a heavy stove is not practical but would work great in a home power outage.

What is your favorite Off-grid cooking method? Let me know in the comments!
