Christmas Gift Picks
I’ve seen a few of the other Survival blogs put out some Christmas gift posts. I thought about doing one of similar items with amazon links. The more I thought about it though I decided that was not punk. I wanted to find small companies with unusual items. Granted some items are available on Amazon and if you buy it from there I make a few pennies that I use to buy gear for review.
I had a hard time finding great new survival products. I asked around and was told about a few. I searched on Kickstarter for more. Also things that I want or like are listed
550 Fire Cord
550 fire cord is your standard 550 cord we all trust but with an inner strand of a fire starting material. I really want some of this to play with.
Modern Homesteading: Rediscovering the American Dream
Modern Homesteading: Rediscovering the American Dream this is the new book out by Youtube star Wranglerstar. I enjoy his videos and bet this book is packed with great pictures.
Dragon Fire Tinderbox
Dragon Fire Tinder box is a small box of tinder. Its from a small company and seems to work great. I’ll be picking some up for review soon.
SURVIVAL LACES
SURVIVAL LACES I found on kickstarter. They are shoe laces with a water resistant tinder in the middle and ferro rod. What prepper would not love this for a christmas gift?
Sharktooth – 12-in-1 Tactical Utility Pendant
I found this sharktooth pendant that still has time to go. It has already fully funded. It is one of those tools with multiple functions. But it is also an arrowhead that flys great.
The Tactful Pen and Tool
One last one. The Tactful Pen and tool from Jp Tac. This is a sweet pen that is a multi tool as well. It has a lot of great tools in it. A carbide window breaker, whistle, ferro rod and scrapper and more. It would be an excellent christmas gift.

Everyone can always do with basic prep items. Filters (sawyer), storm proof matches, stainless steel Nalgenes and reflective tarps are all something that I can never have enough of. Or some pemmican that is hand made.
Absolutely. My favorite is by far wool socks. I can never have too many. Same with bullets
