Celebrating 300 Episodes of Survival Punk!

Welcome to the 300th episode of the Survival Punk Podcast! Today, we’re taking a moment to reflect on the incredible journey we’ve been on together. From humble beginnings to becoming a vibrant community of like-minded survivalists, this milestone wouldn’t have been possible without your support.

The History of Survival Punk

The Survival Punk Podcast started as a simple idea: to share practical, no-nonsense survival tips with an urban and punk twist. From the very first episode, we focused on empowering listeners to prepare for life’s uncertainties, whether it’s natural disasters, financial struggles, or just making life simpler. Over the years, we’ve explored countless topics—from DIY projects to minimalist living—all with the same goal: self-reliance.

Friends Made Along the Way

One of the most rewarding aspects of hosting this podcast has been the incredible people I’ve met. Fellow preppers, industry experts, and listeners have become lifelong friends. Some of my most cherished memories include collaborating with guests who’ve brought unique insights to the table, whether it was about bushcraft skills, urban gardening, or off-grid technology.

I’ve also been inspired by listeners who’ve shared their own prepping journeys. From a listener who built their first rainwater collection system after hearing our episode on water storage to the community member who turned their apartment balcony into a thriving garden—your stories fuel this podcast.

Listener Stories

To celebrate this milestone, I’m sharing a few listener stories that highlight the impact of the Survival Punk Podcast:

  • Cam Mourer
That time you guys bullied my states existence so hard on the podcast that I moved to Alaska.

  • Jeff Radtke

I’m going to go with the cultural appropriation when they say yoseguys. LOL . But seriously I enjoy the podcast and even being a guest. It was always a pleasure.

  • Josh Pennington
The very first episode I listened to someone said “Fuck” and I thought “Finally, my people.” I had been slogging through so many proper and PG fundamentalist Christian prepper podcasters that it was shocking and awesome

  • Bill Burntfinger Langford
My wife found youse guys before I did. I came in from chopping wood and she was laughing so hard the tears were running down her cheeks. Said I had to listen. So I did. You had Jeff Radtke on. His place is on the other end of the road I used to live on.

I remember when you and Mike came to WarZone “M” for Frisbee golf and we froze our ass off! 😆

Looking Ahead

As we celebrate 300 episodes, I’m filled with gratitude for every listener, guest, and supporter who’s been part of this journey. Here’s to many more episodes of learning, growing, and surviving together. Thank you for being part of the Survival Punk family!
