The great folks over at Paleo Meals to Go sent me out another meal for review. This time I got a chance to try their Paleo Meals To Go Savory Chicken & Vegetables. Once again they have hit a home run with this meal. If you follow a paleo way of eating and love backpacking and hiking then keep on reading because you no longer have to compromise on eating healthy while being active.
A few months ago I was contacted by author Troy Grice to see if I was interested in reviewing his new book Indivisible: With Justice For Some. The story is about a partial US collapse and implementation of excessive rule of law by the federal government. The author is definitely either a libertarian or full on anarchist. This has caused some strife with pro Military and LEO organizations. In the authors own words
“It has taken some flak from law-and-order zealots and military worshippers for its gritty portrayal of extra-judicial police violence, and the military’s hardened attitude when it comes to occupying America and suppressing revolt. But I think those who are not enamored with romanticized notions of police and military will find it raises challenging moral questions.”
After reading the book I can’t say I agree with the haters. Let’s jump into the review and show you why you should pick up this book.
I saw this product one day at the store and thought I would pick it up for review. It, the Rayovac PS73-4BT6 7-Hour Power Back Up, filled a nice I had been looking for. I like the idea of small back up power chargers but not the ones with built in batteries that can’t be changed. The big reason I liked this one was because It takes standard AA batteries. If I want rechargeable batteries I can just charge them and in a charger and put them in this unit. I feel AA batteries are perfect for backup power. They are relatively cheap and plentiful now to stock up on and in a collapse scenario I feel they would still be able to be found. With that said lets get down to the review and see how this charger performs.
I was contacted by Online Carry Training about their online carry class they offer. I was slightly skeptical of an online carry course but was intrigued too. I asked them to let me take the course for this review. I set aside enough time to take the class based on my guess of how long it would take. After completing the course I want to share my experiences of the class and why you might consider taking an online carry class.
I put this off this review for a little bit longer than I should have. I’m pretty peculiar on the books I like. This book just was not my cup of tea. It had elements in it I liked but overall it didn’t sit right. I would recommend The Wayward Journey over any of Rawles books which I’ve grown to hate with a passion. This book was entertaining enough to finish and had some good parts so lets get into the review.
