This daypack review is a long time in the making. I have owned this Fieldline Tactical pack for over a year and used and abused the hell out of it. I have taken it on hikes, quick camp trips, Mardi Gras and whenever I need to take things along. I mainly use it now to carry my podcasting gear to Mikes every week. So this daypack has been put through the ringers and today I’ll let you know how it fared.
I’m finally getting around to reviewing The Power Pot. I bought it from the PowerPot guys at a Nashville Prepper Expo last year or so. I could have knocked out a first impressions review. Instead, I decided to wait and really test it out. I don’t like to recommend things or bash them until I’m sure. After going with me on several outings as well as some at hoe testing I’m ready to review the Power Pot. As I type I’m using it to charge a cellphone. The starting charge was 41% and I’ll end with what it gets to.
We all love YouTube, it’s my go to place for entertainment and education. YouTube is one o the reasons I don’t bother with having cable anymore. When the annoying cable goons call trying to sale me on getting cable I say “No thanks I have Netflix and YouTube”. In the past I’ve got good suggestions from readers on new channels to subscribe to so make sure you bring something to the table here guys. This time I feel like I have a good collection of various channels that’s sure to be something for everyone. I try to recommend active channels that I feel aren’t well known. Some are a part of this community.Let me preface this by saying this is not in any order. I don’t have a top pick per say. I think you will get something different from all of these wonderful content producers. So let’s get down to video watching.
I’m sure all of you have seen the Hormel Compleats meals. Most big box stores have a whole section dedicated to them. Shelf stable ready to eat meals with a year shelf life. In the past I had bought some because I liked the concept. Having ready to eat food during a disaster is great and the meal options looked much better than MRE’s. For the most part though I just stored them and didn’t really eat them. They don’t fit in my paleo way of eating, many have either grains or legumes and all have ingredient lists a mile long. I have always said I would eat shit before death though so that’s why I store them. Also I would prefer to give them out before good food. Now lets get down to the review.
The great folks over at Solo Stove recently sent out a Solo Stove and Solo Pot 900 for testing and review. I was excited to get these in and couldn’t wait to get out and test them. Like many of you I’m sure I have way too many camping cook stoves. I’m obsessed with them. I’ve made hobo stoves before and little alcohol stoves. I have a jet boil and a pocket rocket. I’ve spent hours looking at stoves online. So when the chance to test a stove came I jumped on it. Let’s get right down to it then.
