Last week when I went to buy my Remington 870 shotgun finally I decided I needed to buy some new hearing protection. When I was shooting at the IDPA match my cheap ones broke. I saw the Peltor Tactical 6S in the store for around sixty dollars. I had been looking at upgrading to the Peltor brand of hearing protection for a while and these seemed like a decent model. I got a chance to take them out and try them, along with the Remington and will be sharing my thoughts on them today.

Otter Box: Your Phones Savior
Phones now are getting more and more complicated and more fragile. I remember my first cell phone and it would probably have withstood a nuclear attack. Thats ‘not the case with the new one. After one very scary experience I decided I needed to invest in some protection for my phone. The case I decided on was an Otter Box Defender series for my phone. I thought about and researched it pretty long. I’ll share with you the reasons I chose this one and why you need a case.
511 Taclite Pro Pants Review
Why must it be so hard to find a good pair of trousers. I looked all over for a good pair of hiking/ camping pants with a long list of requirements. After research and many recommendations I settled on grabbing a pair of the 511 Taclite Pro pants. After a year of testing the pants I am ready to finally ready to review them. Actually I meant to get around to this a while ago but better late than never right.
Shooting My First IDPA
This week I got a chance to finally shoot at an IDPA match and had a blast. IDPA stands for International Defensive Pistol Association. At matches real world scenarios are set up and you have to use your carry weapon to compete. No fancy tricked out competition guns allowed. Matched are scored based on time with penalties adding to your time. There are matches all over and should be one close to you.
Blackhawk Double Mag Carrier
I love it when I can come on here and praise a product and a company. Nothing makes me happier than giving my glowing recommendation to a well crafted product. That’s not always the case though, and I will and have happily ripped products a new one when they sucked. Today is a case of the latter. A few months ago I bought a Blackhawk mag carrier. The voice in the back of my head that warns me not to buy shit whispered to me, Dont get it. I ignored that voice and bought it regardless and have since been simmering is my hatred for this product. Yesterday while at the range with some friends James from Skills and gear showed me a sweet inside the waist kydex carrier he recently got (Here). Which just set me off ranting about how much I hate the blackhawk one. Did I mention I hate this thing? Let me count the ways in which this pill of crap sucks.
