I’ve been following Tim’s work for a few years now and was very excited for his new book Four Hour Chef. Tim has an amazing ability to learn new skills and simplify them for others. Although I do love cooking what excited me most about his new book was the break down of his learning methods. Before he shows you how to make some amazing food he shows you how to quickly learn any skill. Combine meta learning, cooking, a huge section on survival and hilarious life stories and you have me. Let me share some thoughts with you my thoughts on why you should grab this book.

Cooking! From Cereal to Mad Scientist of the Spatula
I’ve been a cooking enthusiast for over ten years at this point. I love cooking and can hardly remember my first bachelor pad filled with cereal. Yuck! After getting and beginning to read Tim Ferris’ new book the Four Hour Chef I’ve been more excited than usual. I dawned on me that being able to cook delicious food and do it effortlessly and quickly, are not a common thing. Most people suck at cooking. They try a few things and when they turn out bad get put off of cooking. While this post will not be lead you to becoming a four hour chef you will learn some of the insights that make my food great.
How To Make The Best Paleo Egg Rolls
I miss crunchy foods. Tacos, egg rolls, and other crunchy foods are my weakness. Since going paleo crunchy foods have been lacking. Sure there is bacon and pork rinds. This past week I’ve been kicking around a recipe for paleo egg rolls. When I went to research this I only found one recipe. It was a deconstructed one, consequently that means no crunch. That recipe is re-blogged all over the net. Mine is truly (IMHO) innovative. Mine has crunch, flavor and is 100% Paleo. Read on and I’ll show you how to make paleo egg rolls.
Paleo Pumpkin Pie
To end my paleo recipe week I’m going with the king of all pumpkin recipes. Pumpkin pie. Not only is pumpkin pie my favorite pumpkin dish it’s hands down my favorite pie. Every year I I look forward Thanksgiving for a slice (or two) of the delicious pie. If I love it so much then why only once a year. Traditionally they are filled with all kinds of crap I don’t eat. High Fructose Corn Syrup, wheat and who knows what else. So lets paleo up the the king of pies.
Paleo Pumpkin Bread
Right Now I have a loaf of Paleo Pumpkin bread baking in the over. Yes you should be jealous. Its not even done and I’m already calling this a huge success. After all its a slightly pumpkin-ized version of my tried and true paleo bread recipe. Having pumpkin flavor can only make it that much better. Also I licked the spoon. It was yummy. Let me show you how I made paleo pumpkin bread and by the end it will be done and I can taste (devour) a slice.
