Paleo Cheesecake
Today’s post is extra special for many reasons. First today’s post is my 200th post. Ten months ago in March I launched Survivalpunk. In the following ten months I’ve held the hectic schedule of trying to put out a post Monday Through Friday. Though I’ve missed a few days here and there but I’ve manged to hit the bicentennial post mark. I realized a few weeks back that the 200th post would also happen to fall on my birthday. Today I turn the ripe old age of 31 and my blog matures to 200 posts. To celebrate I’m making a paleo cheesecake and showing you how to make it. If I could I’d share it with you as well. If only this was a scratch and sniff blog. Enough rantings lets get down to the no baking!
Cauliflower Soup with Bacon
OK I have to put the spoon down long enough to write this article. Yes this stuff is that yummy. What stuff you ask? The cauliflower soup I just spent all morning making. It was so worth it too. I began with the intention to remake the O’Charley’s loaded potato soup so that it would fit within the confines of a Paleo diet. What I ended up with is delicious and easy. Two of my favorite things, throw in bacon…well then you have something magical. Let me show you how to make your own bowl of this delicious concoction.
Nevella Monk Fruit To Go Review
A few weeks ago
saw an odd little canister in a grocery store on the baking aisle. It was called Nevella Monk Fruit . I had never heard of a monk fruit before. So I hit up Wikipedia and and learned that is has been used as a sweetener and for medicinal purposes for centuries in China. The liquid monk fruit to go is zero calories and zero carbs which is great for my low carb paleo diet.Let me share my thoughts on this product.
Osso “Buko” Kinda
One of the recipes in Four Hour Chef was Osso “Buko”. Which the version in the book is braised lamb shanks. The recipe is super simple and supposed to be amazingly delicious. I decided to give it a try and of course document it for all of you. If you want to recipe as it is in the book pick it up since I take a few liberties. Now lets get cooking!
