Yesterday I reviewed the Libby’s Seasoned Beef crumbles today I’m going to review the Spicy ones. They come in the same 6oz foil package that makes them ideal to carry in a Bug Out Bag. The ingredients got longer with this package, as expected with them being spicy. I woke up hungry today so lets heat these up and chow down.

Libby’s Seasoned Beef Crumbles
Whenever I out buying groceries I stop by the canned meat aisle and see whats new and interesting. This week I found a lot of new things in my preferred foil packaging. They were all made by the Libby’s company, today I’ll review the Seasoned Beef Crumbles. I couldn’t find a good source online to buy this so check your local stores, I picked them up for about $2.50. I was worried that this would have a huge ingredient list of fake things. I was not interested in beef flavored TVP or unpronounceable chemicals in my food even emergency food. The listed ingredients are: Beef, Water, Contains 2% or less of: Salt, Beef Extract, Caramel Color. Let’s heat this thing up and dig in!
Paleo Banana Nut Crunch
My favorite cereal is by far Banana Nut Crunch. I love the stuff. Back when I ate cereal, which was about ten years ago, I ate the stuff often. Since then I usually eat a box a year. I was reading about a paleo cereal one day, which is an oxymoron in itself, and thought it would be great to remake my favorite. I kicked the idea around my head for a while and looked over the official box and copied the allowable ingredients. I changed things a big and added one of my own. This article will be short but sweet, literally.
Eating Healthy Away From Home
The best, cheapest and healthiest food will always come from cooking at home. I try to eat 80~90 of all my meals at home. It saves on money allowing me to save more for moving into my future homestead. The other main benefit to eating at home is that I know every thing that goes into my food. I know that there is no shit in my food that I don’t want in there. Eating at home is not always an option though and sometimes you either have to eat out, for business or other social event, or simply feel like eating out. You can eat out and not feel guilty about eating crappy food. Making wise choices, healthy, paleo food choices are not as hard as some would make it out to be. Today I’m going to share some strategies on healthy eating while out and about.
Guest Post: The Six C’s Of Hunting For Food
I’m back from vacation and have one guest post left to run from the great folks at Dan’s Depot via Craig Caudill. I’m happy to be running a hunting article since this is an area I have no expirience in and am in the process of trying to learn. Enjoy the last guest post I’ll return on Monday.
