So today you get another rant. Two in one week, feel special. I’m not much of a political guy. Never have I ever felt a real love of either the Republicans nor Democrats. I’ve tended to be more in the middle. Having friends that are strong supporters of both parties I have been overwhelmed lately with propaganda. One of the things I’ve seen a lot is the lesser of two evils line.

Worksharp on a Scandi Grind
A few months ago I reviewed the Worksharp Knife and Tool Sharpener. It did a great job sharpening all my knives that were not scandi grinds. Unfortunately the majority of my knives are scandi’s. Worksharp has no attachment to sharpen a scandi grind nor any claim that it will. Well I figured out how to do it and put a shaving sharp edge on my Habilis Trade knife.
Pine Needle Tea
Yes you can make tea from pine needles and no it does not taste like floor cleaner. Although technically it’s not a tea but an infusion. To me that’s hippie speak but it seems that infusions steep longer and possibly at lower temperatures. I had seen that you could make a “tea” from pine needles and was a bit hesitant. I’ll tell you why you should be drinking pine needle tea and what i think about it.
Situational Awareness
This week I’ve given situational awareness some serious thought and decided to share with you.
Wiki describes Situational awareness as:
Situational awareness is the perception of environmental elements with respect to time and/or space, the comprehension of their meaning, and the projection of their status after some variable has changed, such as time.
Basically paying attention to your surroundings to make good decisions.
